Day 04: Lausanne – Evian

Full-day City tour of Lausanne including the Olympic Museum, Excursion to Evian by boat during the afternoon.

Lausanne is a city on Lake Geneva, in the French-speaking region of Vaud, Switzerland. It’s home to the International Olympic Committee headquarters, as well as the Olympic Museum and lakeshore Olympic Park.

We will visit The Olympic Museum in Lausanne which houses permanent and temporary exhibits relating to sports and the Olympic movement.

This afternoon we visit Evian. Take a scenic boat ride from Lausanne and reach Evian in just 35 minutes. Discover the small charming streets of the picturesque town, stroll along the lake promenade, and enjoy the view on the shores of Lake Geneva and the Swiss Alps.

Day 05: Lausanne – Lavaux – Montreux

Full Day City Tour in Lavaux area including the visit to Chaplin Museum during the morning and excursion to Montreux during the afternoon.

Lavaux District is a district located on the northeastern shore of Lake Geneva in the Swiss canton of Vaud between Lausanne and Vevey. The district is part of the World Heritage Site listed region of Lavaux. We will visit the  Chaplin Museum. Chaplin’s World — a museum in the house where Charlie Chaplin lived with his family near Vevey on Lake Geneva in Switzerland. Chaplin’s World is an entertaining museum and interactive experience centered on the life and work of Charlie Chaplin.

This afternoon visit Montreux a traditional resort town on Lake Geneva. Nestled between steep hills and the lakeside. The charming Swiss villages around Montreux are home to mountain views, glamorous resorts, and beguiling streets.

Day 06: Lausanne – Bern – Interlaken

Today travel to Interlaken, a traditional resort town in the mountainous Bernese Oberland region of central Switzerland. Built on a narrow stretch of valley, between the emerald-colored waters of Lake Thun and Lake Brienz, it has old timber houses and parkland on either side of the Aare River. Its surrounding mountains, with dense forests, alpine meadows, and glaciers, have numerous hiking and skiing trails.

We visit Bern, the capital city of Switzerland, which is built around a narrow loop of the Aare River. It traces its origins back to the 12th century, with medieval architecture preserved in the Altstadt (Old Town). Transfer to your hotel in Interlaken.

Day 07: Interlaken – Luzern

Free Day during the morning and departure from Interlaken to Luzern.

Overnight in Luzern.

Day 08: Luzern – Rigi mountain – Zurich

Visit Rigi Mountain.

Rigi Mountain located in the heart of Central Switzerland is an excellent day trip.

Rigi was awarded the title of Queen of the Mountains for its spectacular scenery surrounded by 3 lakes. The mountain offers a great view of the Swiss Alps, the lakes, and an impressive variety of alpine flora. Overnight in Zurich

Day 09: Zurich

Full Day City Tour of Zurich & Rhine Falls.

The city of Zurich, a global center for banking and finance, lies at the north end of Lake Zurich in northern Switzerland. The picturesque lanes of the central Altstadt (Old Town), on either side of the Limmat River, reflect its pre-medieval history. Waterfront promenades along the Limmat follows the river toward the 17th-century town hall. Also view the Rhine Falls  known as the most powerful waterfall in Europe. The falls are located on the High Rhine on the border between the cantons of Schaffhausen and Zürich.

Day 10: Zurich

included: Breakfast-Farewell Dinner Party.

Enjoy a full day at leisure, take time to explore Zurich at your own pace, or do some souvenir shopping around town, or some optional tours.
